I really enjoyed this week, as it was a lovely mix of red carpet glamour, winter fantasy and exclusiveness.

My week started with a fabulous Royal première of a top UK film called ‘A Bunch of Amateurs’ at Leicester Square Odeon. I attended alongside beautiful Bollywood actress Sofia Hayat and amazing musician and son to Status Quo ledged Rick Parfitt, Rick Parfitt Junior. I decided to wear a beautiful and sophisticated beige toned Kasike three quarter length dress from Designer Desirables, which went down a storm with the fashion press. The Brit Flick starring the one and only Bert Reynolds was amazing and we watched alongside our Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Wednesday saw the eagerly awaited opening of exclusive members club ‘Molton House’ run by a close friend of mine Nick Valentine, who had previously co-founded top celebrity night spot ‘The Cuckoo Club’. I attended with the beautiful and sophisticated TV presenter Hannah Sandling, an expert herself in styling and interior design. Also accompanying me was my good friend, Serbian shoe designer Katarina Mutic, responsibly for the most unbelievable boots around. I wore a beautiful and perky-chic pure silk number from Unique Boutique, as the occasion demanded ‘Peacock Chic’. The venue itself was packed solid and demanded attention from some of London’s most social elite including William Cash and lovely wife Vanessa Newman, who I’d previously made acquaintance with during my visit to Scotland to the famous Alladale residence of Paul Lister. Andy Wong’s cheerful and ever vibrant self was noted carrying & also spilling numerous glasses of champagne for himself and his guests. There was also social favourites Jack Kidd, Zafar Rushdie and my gorgeous actor friend Stefan Booth & the every vibrant and interesting artist & friend to the Rolling Stones Bruce French. Nick’s new members club was amazingly and sumptuously furnished with rich fabrics adorning every small private room over 4 floors altogether. The basement being an amazing and intimate nightclub and I spent most of the night dancing away with Nick’s beautiful fiancé Siobhan who always puts a smile on my face from her carefree and happy demeanour.

The following day had another treat in store for both myself and my daughter Annalise: the celebrity VIP opening to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland 2008. Hurray! As for one night ONLY, all the celebrities personally invited were treated to as many fairground rides as they wanted to go on….for FREE. I decided that the occasion demanded my huge, extremely warm, very colourful and incredibly expensive Pucci jacket, as I was going to match a very short white skirt with it and cowboy boots for fun. First we did a mega slide alongside singer Sinitta, we met Father Christmas with singer Paul Young and then got totally and utterly lost in the hall of mirrors with beautiful footballer Jason Cundy’s wife Lizzie Cundy. We finished the night off with some tranquil ice-skating on the ice rink. The press were flashing away hoping to get me falling flat, which to their total glee totally did!!!! However, they were not quick enough with their snapping and I managed to get up and brush myself off before any embarrassing photos could land in this weeks press.

The week ended off splendidly with both my husband and I watching on of our horses race at Lingfield in Surrey. Despite the freezing weather, the day was amazing and it always gives me a thrill to be on the race course knowing that our horse is in the actual running. This time, Philatolist only came 7th, however he had been off the track for the last 8 months, hopefully when he runs next time, he should make the top three. Once home from the track, I had to speedily get dresses for an amazing Moroccan themed surprise party at Sofia Hyat’s sumptuous mansion in Kent. Sofia’s house is extremely lavish and beautiful and it has certainly paid off for her after spending months designing the whole interior of the house herself. Over 5,000 square feet of Moroccan paradise awaited all of the guests, swimming pool, central fireplace, Brazilian Dancers and the most space age massage chair I had ever seen, only two ever made in existence I am told and the other one is owned by a top A lister. We had so much fun and Sofia was an amazing host. I wore a sophisticated black dress for the occasion as it demanded black and white theme with a Moroccan twist.
I can’t wait to fill you in with next weeks blog, cause as you know, we are now in the run up to Christmas and all the winter balls are now in full swing.
By the way, please support my sweet and endearing little cousin Joe Swash in ‘I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of here’. I am gunning for him to win due to his lovable and unpretentious demeanour.
Lots of love, the ever party going
