You’ve been knee-deep in sequins, leather and colour-blocked separates for months now and then all of a sudden 70% off signs are spreading over everything you’ve been lusting after all season. In the worst cases fights broke out at some of Britain’s top stores as shoppers jostled for the best bargains at Boxing Day sales. According to shoppers at Gucci, where £500 handbags, shoes and other goods were being sold at half price, a police van and four patrol cars raced to the scene after reports of punches being thrown. This confirms for me, more than ever, the best course of action is to stay home and shop online! Save on petrol, your self esteem(!) and know the bargains and barg-nots before you waste your time and money. Also online sales start earlier – so you can get the best bargains sooner online.
